What it is

This TED video featuring Rumaitha Al Busaidi of Oman is about helping girls and women gain access to education and employment opportunities so they can become better advocates for climate change.
Students will learn how women and girls are disproportionately displaced by climate impacts and still face workplace discrimination.

Prerequisites

Teachers can assign the video to students and ask them to write a reflection summary or create a graphic organizer on their understanding.
Students can be paired with a partner and be asked to create a storyboard (drawings) about their understanding of the video with their partner.
