Our Partners

We envision a world where everyone feels empowered to take action in solving climate change. To create this future, climate action begins in the classroom.

As a founding partner of hte Wisconsin Climate Education Hub, DPI helps educators access trusted resources and strengthen climate literacy across Wisconsin classrooms.
Green & Healthy Schools Wisconsin is a movement of schools, community partners, and state agencies working together to connect, catalyze, and celebrate schools to nurture healthy kids and sustainable communities. The movement spans the state to provide schools with resources and recognition to reach green and healthy goals. This effort is led by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the Department of Natural Resources.
Love My Air Wisconsin (LMA WI) is a free K-12 school-based program that provides air quality data, education and action items. These tools help communities protect their health and respond to poor air quality. Join us to help promote clean air, strong lungs and healthy kids.
Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is the largest school district in the state of Wisconsin with a community spread across 154 schools. In 2026, MPS launched the district’s first sustainability action plan. This plan focuses on four impact systems: facilities and operations, curriculum and instruction, leadership, and culture and community, and serves as a roadmap to healthy and sustainable schools. This plan represents a bold vision for the future of MPS.
We are on a mission to make climate change teaching and learning accessible to all. By enabling educators from all subjects and grade levels to teach about climate change, we believe that the next generation will be inspired to take climate action.
For more than 50 years, the Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education has connected and supported educators working to create a sustainable, resilient Wisconsin. WAEE advances high-quality environmental and climate education through professional learning, collaboration, and resources that empower learners to develop environmental literacy, inspire stewardship, and foster meaningful connections to nature, place, and community.
Environmental literacy builds thoughtful, engaged citizens. The Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education (WCEE) strives to improve our communities’ environmental, social, and economic vitality by fostering place-based, personally relevant environmental education opportunities for all Wisconsin students. Our statewide energy and forestry education programs provide professional development, hands-on classroom kits, and ready-to-use lessons and activities to Wisconsin's K-12 educators.
