Synopsis
- This interactive map shows sites of conflict related to airports and aviation around the world.
- Students can also use the map to explore CO2 emissions from aviation by country (and per-capita, tourism-adjusted data), observe where all major and mid-size airports are located around the world, and explore countries' vulnerability to climate disruptions.

- Students can explore the details of conflicts happening all over the world related to airports and aviation by clicking on the location.
- After clicking on a location, students can click "see more" and then select from seven orange language icons in the sidebar to view the entire site in translation.
Additional Prerequisites
- Students should know how to read a map.
- Students must de-select options in the legend to see other options if they are listed below the previously selection option.
Differentiation
- Students could choose a site and do research to find more updated information on the conflict.
